Sentry is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Norden, SD

Primary Objective: Manage Projects, use assigned internal and external resources to execute the project on time and under budget.

Primary Duties
  • Establish clear project scope (the work we have agreed to do) and project specifications (any specific requirements established by the owner or contract), so that the field crews can efficiently execute the project.
  • Build and manage the project plan (i.e. list of tasks) and schedule (this is the plan on a timeline).
  • Establish and manage a budget for each project to be equal or better than bid margin. This includes Labor, Material, Subcontracting, Equipment, and Other jobs costs.
  • Provide regular and formal updates to the General Contractor and/or Project Owner regarding the project. There should be no surprises.
  • Establish clear and formal subcontracts for any areas of the project that are subbed out.
  • Build material lists, order and keep track of project Materials using to ensure that the project schedule is not delayed due to missing material.
  • Complete project Health Reports for each project that you are assigned, on a biweekly basis. The Project Health is the tool that should drive the actions to “manage” the project and is owned by the Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor and Superintendents so that the manpower schedule, equipment schedule, and project schedule are in always in sync and are optimized.

o Project Billing / Invoicing – projects cash flow.
